A George IV Mahogany Shaving Mirror attributed to James Mein

Of good scale.
The circular mirror is held in a moulded frame and supported on a brass column which is adjustable in height and angle.
The back retains it original back plate and wonderful craved adjusting screws.
The circular, dished base has a carved, curled leaf collar detail.
The whole piece is a great collar and in superb, untouched condition.
Attributed to James Mein of Kelso (1784-1830)
