      Attributable to E. W Pugin.
      In pitch pine with and retaining the original paint.
      The central crest is that of the Molyneux Seel Family of Huyton Hey, Lancaster, depicting a heraldic cap with a plume of peacock feathers.
      Major T. Seel commissioned Edward Welby Pugin to build Harrington House (now demolished) in 1869. Descriptions say the interior was finished in polished pitch pine ( source 'The Building News 1872')
