A Regency Faux Bamboo Chair

The back is made up of two uprights and a top rail of faux bamboo with spindles in a geometric design between.
The shaped seat is still in the original needlework floral top fabric with the horsehair upholstery beneath.
Raised on four faux bamboo, turned legs with a repeating spindle design to the front stretchers.
The original gilt is retained and worn in the most lovely way.
There are losses to some of the designs on the spindles, as shown, and the seat is in fragile condition but too lovely to strip.
